Dupes

Today I put on an eye shadow that I wear often enough but only just noticed how much it looks like another shadow I have and sometimes wear. The first one I will mention is a modern metallics by Mabeline in the color sunkissed olive, which actually holds two separate colors but the one that is a dupe is the darker one and it is a dupe for Hard Candy baked eyeshadow in the color lunar Eclipse. The swatches are the Hard Candy (L) then the Maybelline.(R)

The next two dupes I want to mention are the Hard Candy plumping serum gloss in Jellyfish and the dupe for it is not a plumping gloss but is is close in color even on the lips and it is by Lipsmacker in the color candy pink and it is from their Star Glaze line of gloss. Both are a very pretty semi sparkly gloss with iridescent tones.  

                                                                        

You can see the Hardy Candy on the left is a bit lighter but the color on the lips is very similar. 

The hard candy eye shadow goes for about $6.00 and the Maybelline is around $ 3.29 and as you can see they are very close in color and effect.

the Hard Candy gloss I believe is about $6 or maybe $8 and I actually found the Lipsmacker gloss at the Dollar Tree so really a good deal!
