Save Some Money, Hunny! #savemoney#bank#savecash#rich#broke#$
Ever wish you were rich? Like stinking, filthy, ridiculously wealthy?!! ME TOO!!! I am not rich or even close to it according to my bank statements, BUT I can give you some decent advice on how to save and still enjoy some things you might think you have to do without.
1. Use the old 'change jar' trick. It's simple, yet handy when you really need it most. Just keep a jar you can toss loose change into and don't touch it for a few weeks or until you really need it. It's not a bank or a personal loan but it is yours and yours alone!!
2. Remember when your parents used to give you a weekly allowance? Yeah, me either lol (but they did attempt it.) Do this for yourself and stick with it. Think of it as money management while still rewarding yourself. Set a reasonable weekly amount you allow yourself given you have earned it. Be your own boss here and decide that if all bills/living expenses are covered then take that amount and spend it on something within that budget that can be a little reward for all your hard work. This helps you to feel you aren't just simply living to work and working to live. If you aren't comfortable with doing this weekly and instead bi-weekly or even monthly, or more comfortable doing this daily then you decide but be responsible and have all the necessary spending covered FIRST!! This way of rewarding yourself can prevent you from making risky purchases that have you scraping to pay your bills.
3. SELL, SELL, SELL, yes sell your unwanted clothing or other items!! Have a yard sale, sell online, or even take some things to your local consignment shop or check out some shops to sell your unwanted clothing, shoes, handbags, jewelry online. You can also start making jewelry, art, re purposed items, or whatever things you are good at making and sell them online.
(Disclaimer Alert!! Some fees may apply when using some sites that work like online storefronts.)
