9/11 and why I will NEVER FORGET
I can't forget, I was out processing from the military then. I was asked to put off my discharge (honorable/medical) to go and clean up. I felt for this loss but I did not go. There were reasons why I was leaving the military that I couldn't put off. I love my country and am proud to of served but it was by my personal understanding that it was not meant to be. Still, I wish I could of helped...I am sorry for the lost lives that day and the families who suffer that loss still!
I am thankful for the men and women who helped clean up the destruction and pray for them to this day because so many wound up sick, having cancer, lung problems from inhaling so much debris. So much loss and even today, that day still needs our thoughts and prayers. #neverforget
